Also called a Lunar Dragon run of Super Mario World, this run gets all of the exits in the game, as well as the dragon coins and moons. There are some goofy rules for dragon coins (some stages have more than the standard amount of coins, etc). This was a category that [speedrunner] Carl Sagan derived to try and make the monotonous 96 Exit run more compelling. I had a lot of fun playing this back in the day. Here’s my personal best run.
This was also the first game I ran at Games Done Quick, back in the summer of 2013. I’m not really proud of that run performance, but I’m happy that it still remains a fond speedrunning memory for many. You can check out that run from Summer Games Done Quick 2013 right here.
